The initiative "Portugal" is addressed to all civil society, mainly to producers and consumers, who are the main protagonists of the economic development of the country.

Joining the seal provides the following benefits: • Use the tag "Portugal" on labels, packaging and promotional material of the products adhering to the seal and other communication materials and the company's logistics, enabling the consumer (end, intermediate) recognize the high local content of a product;

• Benefit from communication and marketing campaigns of the initiative "Portugal" promoted by the program's operational Body, contributing to the increased visibility of the products and companies adherent.

• Be part of collaborative networks among companies that promote and stimulate cooperation and business generation.

• Provide relevant and distinctive information that allows consumers a responsible decision-making;

• Raise awareness among large companies and modern distribution companies for the exploitation of the national production in their purchases, while respecting competition rules;

• Sensitize the public entities for valuation of national production, in its acquisitions, respecting competition rules.
